So I worked 3-10 last night, and when I got home the first thing I saw when I came online was about 10-12 posts about Paul Walker’s death. Me being the inquisitive and curious person that I am, went reading through the reports and have read through some of the updated ones. I’m really sad to see him go because he was one of my favorite actors and he did really good things for charities. I’m also sad for his friend and both of their families.
But at the same time I’m annoyed because the newer reports are saying that speed was a factor, and that they found figure 8 skid marks, meaning they were probably screwing around a little bit in a place that they shouldn’t have been. I respect the need to have fun, and I am honestly upset that they died, even if I didn’t know either one. But at the same time I am beyond annoyed.
I can understand wanting to do that kind of stuff. It’s an adrenaline rush. But that was definitely not the time or place. I just hope people will take it to heart and learn something.
That my most exciting thought all day other than a guy being cute is not having to set my alarm clock for tomorrow?
